Symptom of the Unknown: Laziness

As the paradigm of life begins to shift, I think there will be people approaching a new life journey of mastering their mind. One of the most difficult life challenges is creating a better self-image of yourself. We as a society have evolved in scientific and medical creations but have lost sight of the power of self-improvement. Many people go about their days burdened with unpursued dreams, negative self-talk, and expectations that others including parents may have placed over their shoulders. A yearn for change will bring up many personal questions but one most important of all, the difference between being lazy and uninspired in one’s life.

No pressure placed by anyone can be greater than the pressure placed on ourselves but with that being said what stops us from moving? When I say moving, I mean more so in the pursuit of our passions and everything we aspire to be. Often times we are quick to base it off of one vague word known as laziness to blanket over the myriad of emotions that stops people from chasing their dreams however the new question is where does it come from? What new age mental coaches have begun to ask is how to move people out of the fear state and into the abundant mindset. It has been determined that there is now a distinct correlation between fear and laziness, however with a few small changes we can begin to create a new reality for ourselves and the power and confidence to change our lives.

Laziness is the unwillingness to pursue goals, tasks, or new projects in terms of the current “comfort” in which our mental state currently resides in. Fear often times manifests itself unwanted energy and thought processes that hinder us from doing what it is that we love. Fear of failure, fear of unreached expectations, and fear of success are among the most common. Laziness is when you convince yourself that the fear of starting and never achieving is less valuable than ever igniting that dream in the first place. The self-dismantlement of one’s own spirit by negative self-talk to remind us of the false notion that our dream is unattainable. From the never wanting to hear the detrimental “I told you so” line to the heartbreak of never reaching your desired end goal can be discouraging.

There is however an end to all the mental madness. By priming ourselves with self-betterment tools and habits we can take the driver’s seat to changing our lives in whichever way we may choose to do so. Inspiration starts with the willingness to work on one’s self. It is understanding the idea that the more we begin to look and heal from within the more mental clarity and guidance we will have to bring us to all of our manifestations. We can give ourselves the permission to heal from the plagues of our past and look towards a new life by changing our perspective of how we view ourselves. Begin by telling yourself that you deserve it all and that you are absolutely worthy. Long are the days of the old you and welcome your hidden potential. Let go of those in the past who hurt you and focus simply on what you can do now to push you towards your dreams. Ask yourself questions such as “what do I like?” or “what would the better version of me look like?” Open ended questions about yourself will open new doors to new life creations. Remember the healthier and positive the questions you ask yourself are, the more abundant the answers will be.
