With the world at it’s current state and the after effects of quarantine beginning to unravel, we as a society have an obligation to assist others. During the beginning of quarantine, we saw a huge influx of people seeking answers to questions that they may not have had before. The realization of a general lack of self-care or not knowing how to properly care for yourself can be daunting. However, the need to help others comes from within and that burning desire to leave an impact on the world is what we need in order to help each other during these times.
Self-care has become a common term used amongst population as more and more information on how to properly care for yourself continue to flood the internet and social media world. This push for self-improvement might just be what society needs in order to rebuild our own mental strength but may also bring unnecessary stress if not careful. The pressures of the world can be enough to leave people feeling inferior or not worthy of giving themselves the love in which they need to help others but the truth is that you are more than deserving.
If we widen the microscope and look at this idea from a slightly more esoteric perspective than it is easier to understand that as humans, we are all equal and are deserving simply because we exist. You are no different than the person next to you yet somehow you might have convinced yourself that you deserve less. I am hear to tell you that that is not true and most of your journey towards true self-improvement is saying it to yourself that you are deserving until you longer doubt it. The balancing act of helping yourself and others is to put your own growth first and help others in your improved state. A healing soul sharing advice and life experience to another healing soul can only help it grow, however with that being said a wounded spirit can hinder the spirit of person trying to evolve and improve.
I ask you to challenge yourself going forward as we reach the halfway point of 2020 and to seek more personal knowledge. Discomfort is the symptom right before change and the best way to change is through new experiences and objectives. Set a few new goals for yourself, both mental and physical. Continue to learn more about yourself and share your experiences with friends in order to enrich their lives as well. The constant need to discourage ourselves as motivation is a dated practice and setting new healthier objectives can be more beneficial to one’s vibration. Remember the idea that it is a push and pull effect and the healthier your spirit, the healthier the energy.
